Kenyans are keenly following the developments in the education sector in relation to the implementation of the new syllabus. However, the most concerned are the parents, teachers and publishers who are disturbed by the conflicting statements emanating from the education stakeholders led by the Ministry of Education. On Tuesday, 11 December 2018, the Education CS told the Senate Education committee that the government was dropping the new competency based curriculum (CBC) because of a lack of broad consultations, preparedness and training of tutors. Later on Saturday, 15 December 2018, the Education CS flanked by the PS and other education stakeholders after a closed-door meeting at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development issued a statement that the new curriculum will be fully rolled-out on 2020 and not 2019 as initial scheduled. The decision was based on the findings of independent evaluators, who had identified several weaknesses in the programme, including lack of funding, poor school infrastructure, and haphazard training of teachers. An uproar ensued from the parents and publishers who felt shortchanged since they had bought books and had spent a lot in publishing learning materials respectively. The Education CS issued another statement on Saturday, 22 December 2018 and said that the ministry will in January 2019 commence a methodical and carefully organized phased rollout of the competency-based curriculum effective in pre-primary I and II and Grades 1, 2 and 3. Even if the roll-out goes ahead it might face further hurdles since there is no National Curriculum Policy framework and the Sessional Paper on Curriculum Reforms Education and Training, which are yet to be tabled before Parliament. This means that it will be an illegal exercise unless Parliament approves the sessional paper and policy before 3 January 2019 when schools will be re-opening. (Daily Nation, 22/12/2018). Furthermore, Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) said that they were never consulted on the latest decision and have rejected the planned roll-out of the new curriculum in January 2019 until the government addresses the gaps pointed out by evaluators. Things became further unclear on Tuesday 24 December 2018 when the Council of Governors (Cog) said it does not have money to support the new syllabus (Daily Nation, 24/12/2018)

It is clear that secular capitalist regimes are managed based on chaos since the invalid secular capitalist ideology itself emanated from anarchy. Hence, everything including policies that emanate from it are interest and chaotic driven due to its secular creed which removes the role of the Creator in legislating for the man and instead man legislates for himself. It is disheartening to see an important policy that has huge ramification across the spheres of life is witnessing such mix-ups. The misunderstandings are informed by the fact that most of the education stakeholders are only concerned with just meeting their egocentric interests especially the publishers in collaboration with the government who will wreck in billions of shillings from publishing learning materials. Furthermore, indoctrinate the young children with evil secular capitalist thoughts copy-pasted from their western colonial masters that will build them into secularized personalities whose akliyya (mentality) and nafsiyya (disposition) is purely madaniyya (materialistic) driven! Their goal in life is to seek sensual gratification! Their measurement of action is interests! Therefore, they are prepared to further the secularism chaos in society!

The most radical solution lies in the embracement of the call for resumption of the Islamic way of life via reestablishment of the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood. It is only under the Khilafah that humanity will realize genuine peace, tranquility and prosperity. Since The Khilafah will execute all policies including that of education strictly according to what the Qur’an and Sunnah demands and not what the western colonialists, their invalid secular capitalist ideology, and its filthy systems demands. The system of education in the Khilafah will be based on building an Islamic personality (Shaksiyyatul Islam). A distinct personality that ensures the students possess an Islamic akliyya (mentality) and nafsiyya (disposition); whose goal in life is to seek the pleasure of Allah. In addition, their measurement of actions is Halal and Haram. In other words, they are prepared to be slaves of Allah and in turn a serene society in this world and paradise in the hereafter.
